Our Story:

Old School began as a schoolhouse in 1936, nestled into the hillside of Bells Bend, just outside Nashville. The kind of place that feels familiar even if it’s your first time stepping through the door. The kind of place that’s quietly held memory for generations.

A large outdoor gathering with multiple tables, many guests sitting and conversing, under string lights, in a garden or backyard setting during a celebration or event.

Today, Old School sits at the heart of a working nonprofit farm. It’s a venue, yes - but more than that, it’s a gathering space built not just for celebration, but for connection. For presence. For events that ask us to slow down, look around, and remember why we came together in the first place.

We’ve kept the bones - the original wood floors, the light-filled windows, the land that hums with seasonal life. But we’ve let it grow. Garden paths, native blooms, an open-air pavilion, a wide stretch of sky. Every detail considered. Every corner open to possibility.

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. Because no two stories gather the same way. We’re not here to fit your event into our mold — we’re here to shape something that feels like you. Rooted in place. Built with intention. Crafted, always, from the ground up.
